Barbara Magdalena Ahren (* 1950 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian - Swiss actress and theater director .

Life

After graduating from high school, Barbara Magdalena Ahren began training at the Academy for Music and Performing Arts in Graz . Theater engagements followed in Hamburg , Düsseldorf , Darmstadt and Zurich .

She became known to a wide audience through various roles in the television series Tatort . In 1999 she played the leading female role as café owner Doris in the crime scene Das Glockenbachgeheimnis alongside Iris Berben . Between 1998 and 2003 she played the forensic scientist Prof. Dr. Konstanze Korda in the RTL series Die Cleveren .

She was also seen in films such as Bandits , Anatomy and The White Massai .

In 2007 she worked at the Bern Puppet Theater and the Cellar Theater in Winterthur, where she a. a. with a reading by Christa Wolf's Kassandra . In the 2009/10 season she was there with the staged reading Genie und Wahn: Nikolai Gogol as a guest.
