Baseball Bundesliga 1991
The Baseball Bundesliga 1991 was the eighth season of the Baseball Bundesliga . The Mannheim Tornados were able to return the favor for the loss of their title last year and secure their eighth championship title by beating the Berlin Challengers in the final for the first time , including the seventh since the Bundesliga was founded.
Regular season
As in the previous year, the North and South seasons were played, but now with seven teams each. In the Bundesliga North, the Lokstedt Stealers came to their first Bundesliga season, in the South the Darmstadt Rockets were represented for the first time . Otherwise, the same teams as in the previous year took part in the Baseball Bundesliga.

With the rise of the Nordstedt Stealers, the St. Pauli Knights and the Hamburg Mariners played three different clubs from Hamburg in the baseball league. This represents a record. In 1984 three teams from Mannheim also played in the Bundesliga, but the Mannheim Tornados made two teams.
