The German Baseball Bundesliga 2015 was the 32nd season of the Baseball Bundesliga . The regular season started on April 4 with the games of the Mainz Athletics against the Heidenheim Heideköpfe and bookbinder Legionnaires against the Bad Homburg Hornets . The regular season ended on August 1st. From August 8th to October 3rd, the German champions were determined in the play-offs and the relegated players in the play-downs. The Solingen Alligators started the season as defending champions . In the North Division, the Dohren Wild Farmers were relegated to the 2nd German Bundesliga, while the Hannover Regents were promoted from the 2nd German Bundesliga . Thus the North Division plays with 7 teams, the South Division plays with 8 teams. After the spin-off from HSV , the stealers took on as Hamburg Stealers .
