Bay is a Filipino municipality in the Laguna Province .
history
Bay is one of the oldest places in Laguna Province and was its first capital. Bay's original territory included the areas of today's neighboring communities of Los Baños and Calauan . Before the place was conquered by the Spaniards, it was populated by settlers led by Datu Gat Pangil . Bay was founded around 1570.
