Bela Chotenaschwili ( Georgian ბელა ხოტენაშვილი * 1. June 1988 in Telavi , Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Georgian Chess - Grandmaster . She participated in the women's chess world championships in 2012 , 2015 and 2017 .
Career
Chotenashivili won the U16 World Youth Championships in 2004.
In 2006 she became International Women's Champion and in 2007 Women's Grand Master. In 2009 she won the Maia Chiburdanidze Cup in the final against Lela Javakhishvili and became a member of the Georgian national chess team. In addition, she became International Master in the same year. In 2012, Chotenashvili became the Georgian women's chess champion. In 2013 she reached the third and final norm for the grandmaster title. In 2014 she won the first women's prize at the Qatar Masters Open. In 2017 she became Georgian women's chess champion again.
National team
Chotenashvili has been taking part in the women's chess Olympiads with the Georgian national team since 2010, in the women's team chess championships since 2011 and in the European women's team championships since 2009 . She won two gold medals at the 2015 Women's Chess Team Championships in Chengdu , China.

In the Georgian team championship in 2014, Chotenashvili played for the Kakheti chess club . At the European Club Cup women took 2010 Samaja Tbilisi and from 2014 to 2019 with Nona Batumi part, while she won with the team in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019, reaching 2016 and 2018 ranked second; In the individual ranking she achieved the second-best result on the second board in 2015 and the third-best result on the third board in 2017. In the Chinese team championship, Chotenashvili played for Wuxi in 2012 and for Tianjin from 2014 to 2016 and again since 2018 . In the German women's league, she has been playing for SK Schwäbisch Hall since 2019 .
Private life
She graduated from Tbilisi State University and studied at Georgian Technical University .
