Believe is the 22nd studio album of American pop - singer Cher . It was released on October 25, 1998 through the Warner Music Group label.
Production and guest posts
Four producers were involved in the production of Believe , with Mark Taylor and Brian Rawling involved in the production of a total of six titles. Todd Terry produced three songs on the album, including a remix of We All Sleep Alone , a track written by Jon Bon Jovi , Richie Sambora and Desmond Child , which was already included on the 1987 album Cher . Junior Vasquez only produced one track: The Power .
No guest contributions from other artists are included on the album.

Chart successes and singles
Believe debuted on the Billboard 200 on November 28, 1998 at number 139. In the week of May 8, 1999, after 24 weeks in the charts, the sound carrier reached fourth place in the American album charts. In the German album charts, Believe rose to number 9 on November 16, 1998 and reached its highest position of number 1 on February 14, 1999. The sound carrier also reached the top of the charts in New Zealand, among others.

Sales figures and awards
Believe was awarded double platinum in Germany in 1999 for more than one million units sold , making the album one of the best-selling music albums in Germany . In the United States, the album was certified four times platinum in 1999 for over four million sales.
