Berlin painter poets

The Berlin painter poets were an artist group of 14 painting writers founded in 1972 in Berlin-Kreuzberg . It gathered artists who created works in painting, poetry and fiction. In contemporary descriptions they are counted as an important part of the culture of West Berlin as Kreuzberg bohemians . Aldona Gustas was the initiator and engine of the artist group and the traveling exhibitions .
