Bertil Rönnmark
Bertil Vilhelm Rönnmark (born December 24, 1905 in Jämshög, Blekinge , † July 1, 1967 in Enskede , Stockholm ) was a Swedish sports shooter.
Rönnmark started shooting with his brother Lennart at the age of 15. In 1929 he could not qualify for the World Championships, in 1931 he won the Swedish qualification in the jump-off against the 1912 Olympic champion Mauritz Eriksson . At the World Championships in 1931, Rönnmark won the title in small- bore shooting from the prone position in both the individual and team rankings.
Three Swedish small-bore shooters were nominated for the 1932 Olympic Games : Bertil Rönnmark and Karl August Larsson were part of the world championship team the year before, with Gustaf Emil Andersson joining them . Rönnmark achieved 294 points in the competition, Andersson (5th place in the final result) and Larsson (7th place in the final result) 292 points. In the jump-off against the Mexican Gustavo Huet , Rönnmark again scored 294 points and won the competition.
At the World Championships in 1933 Rönnmark, Andersson, Larsson and Tage Eriksson and Ivar Wester won the world championship title in the team classification with the small bore rifle in the prone position. Rönnmark also won the title in the three-position fight with the army rifle and in the kneeling position with the free rifle. Rönnmark won his sixth world title in 1935 with a free rifle in the prone position. At the Olympic Games in 1936 , Rönnmark took eighth place with the small bore rifle in the prone ranking with 295 points.
Bertil Rönnmark worked as a pharmacist in Karlskrona, but later moved to Stockholm.
