Bettina Eberspächer , maiden name Wöhrmann (* 1957 in Göttingen ) is a German Slavist , literary translator and poet .

Live and act

Bettina Eberspächer passed her Abitur in Tübingen and first studied German and Slavic studies at the University of Tübingen . With a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), she studied Slavic Studies at the University of Warsaw from 1978 to 1979 . She then studied at the University of Heidelberg , graduated in 1981 with a master's thesis The Influence of Nietzsche Philosophy on the Poetry of Leopold Staff , and in 1986 she completed her dissertation on reality and transcendence. Marina Tsvetaeva's poetic synthesis is doing her doctorate .

She has been working as a translator from Polish , Russian and Bosnian since 1989 . In 1995 she became a member of the literary association Räuber '77 eV in Heidelberg. She belongs to the Orpheus group of authors and was a participant in the German-Polish poet steamer .
