Bogacka Szklarnia ( German Bodländer Glashütte ) is a place of Gmina Kluczbork in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .

geography

Bogacka Szklarnia is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. Bogacka Szklarnia is about eleven kilometers west of the Kluczbork municipality and about 44 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole.

Bogacka Szklarnia is located on the north-western edge of the Stobrawski Landscape Protection Park .

Neighboring towns of Bogacka Szklarnia are Wierzchy ( Wierschy ) in the west, Bogacica ( Bodland ) in the northeast and Żabiniec ( Fabianswalde ) in the east .

history

In 1840, 85 people worked on sheet and hollow glass in the Bodländer glassworks.

As a result of the Second World War, Bodlander Glashütte fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . The place was subsequently renamed Bogacka Szklarnia and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
