Nowa Bogacica ( German Karlsgrund ) is a place of Gmina Kluczbork in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .
geography
Nowa Bogacica is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. Nowa Bogacica is located about fifteen kilometers southwest of the municipality seat Kluczbork and about 41 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole .
The Bogacica flows south of the village . Nowa Bogacica is located in the middle of extensive forest areas that are part of the Stobrawski Landscape Protection Park .
Neighboring towns of Nowa Bogacica are Georgenwerk (Polish: Bukowo ) in the south and the colony Piece ( Vosshütte ), which belongs to Nowa Bogacica, in the north .
history
In 1845 there were 27 houses in the village. In the same year, 262 people lived in Karlsgrund, 36 of them Protestants and 4 Jewish. In 1874 the administrative district Jagdschloss Bodland is founded, to which Karlsgrund belongs.
In 1933 there were 282 people in Karlsgrund. On April 1, 1939, Karlsgrund was incorporated into the municipality of Borkenwalde . Until 1945 the village belonged to the district of Rosenberg OS
As a result of the Second World War, in 1945, like most of Silesia , Karlsgrund fell under Polish administration. Subsequently, the place was renamed Nowa Bogacica and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
