Brother from Luder is a teen comedy from the year 2015 . The YouTubers Heiko and Roman Lochmann took on the leading roles as well as the direction, the script was written by Alexander Dydyna , and the film was produced by Constantin Film . The film premiered on December 20, 2015, was released in German cinemas on December 24, 2015 and tells the story of two brothers who, due to their fame on YouTube, become victims of an intrigue, but also find their first great love. The film was received largely negatively by critics and rating portals.

The brothers Heiko and Roman Lochmann are making careers as YouTube stars and are about to give their first concert. The inconspicuous Bella is her biggest fan and is secretly in love with Roman. When her sister, the "fame bitch " Jessy and her two friends, who would do anything to become "fame ", learn how famous the two boys are, they forge a plan: Jessy tries one of the brothers fishing to become famous too. She pretends to take care of her sister Bella, who forces her to be a wheelchair user. Jessy manages to wrap Heiko around her finger, and Heiko falls head over heels in love with her. That doesn't suit his brother Roman, because he sees through the blonde's wrong game. However, Heiko is downright blind with love. At the same time, Jessy's sister Bella falls in love with Roman more and more. When the brothers split up, the planned concert threatens to fail.
Jessy sees Roman as an obstacle on the way to fame and lures him into her basement to take him prisoner there. Shortly afterwards she offers to perform with Heiko. At the concert, however, her vocal performance is booed by the audience. Roman managed to break out with Bella's help and took the stage. He sends Jessy off the stage and the brother couple can now rock the party together. Bella also sings a small passage along.

With their music and comedy videos, Die Lochis also reach millions in real life and were awarded the German Web Video Prize in the Newbie category in 2012 as the audience winner .

Shortly after the film was officially announced on YouTube in spring 2015, Die Lochis began shooting. The filming took place in Darmstadt , Frankfurt and Würzburg and ended in May 2015. Parts of the soundtrack and soundtrack were also produced in Darmstadt, with the recording studio in question also being used as the location for a key scene.
In addition to Heiko and Roman Lochmann , other YouTube colleagues such as Dagi Bee , LionT , Freshtorge and Simon Desue can be seen in the film. The two main female roles are played by Tara Fischer and Milena Tscharntke .
One month before the official cinema release on December 24, 2015, Heiko Lochmann announced previews of the film in well over 100 cinemas in Germany, for example in the Cinedom in Cologne in the presence of Heiko and Roman Lochmann, Dagi Bee, Simon Desue, Axel Stein and Oliver Pocher.

The film received mostly negative reviews. On IMDb the film was rated 1.6 out of 10 points and on Moviepilot the film was rated 2.6 out of 10 points by the users.
In its film review, the Süddeutsche Zeitung came to the conclusion: “[T] his humorous debacle is unbearable. Unless you're at the mercy of the fluctuating hormone level of a 13-year-old teenager, "and the Welt read:" The film itself is not worth mentioning apart from two or three diarrhea gags. "The image was also devastating:" Nothing except for thin shit on the Spongebob underpants or the swimming trunks stand - every diaphragm slackens. Justin Pollnik from the online magazine videolix.net judged somewhat more positively: "There are hardly any surprises in the film, almost all actions and subsequent scenes are predictable." Nevertheless, Pollnik praises not only some of the actors but also the technical implementation of the Lochmann brothers' cinema debut: “For fans of the Lochis it is certainly an exciting film [that] can be quite fun despite the poor plot.” Also on Filmstarts.de one could read: “The duo […] has not exactly created a masterpiece, but the“ potato salad “-Disaster, in which they were involved with a guest appearance, they leave well behind.” YouTuber Dominik Porschen from the film lounge also explains: “In the end it is and will not be a good film”, since the plot is interchangeable, sound effects exaggerated, and the script and direction are weak.
