The Burg Reifenberg is an Outbound hilltop castle on the "Reifenberg" ( deserted ) southeast of Talheim in the district of Heidenheim in Baden-Wuerttemberg .
The castle was probably built around 1300 and was the seat of the von Reifenberg family, documented from 1303 to around 1399, who were the ministerials of the Fürstenbergers . In 1401 and 1437 the castle is mentioned as a stables owned by the Counts of Lupfen . The property later came to the Lords of Friedingen and then to Württemberg . Traces of a moat are still preserved from the former castle complex.
