The Burgstall Alter Schlossberg , also known as the Altes Schloss , is an abandoned high medieval hilltop castle on the Schlossberg at 430  m above sea level. NHN south-southwest of Herbolzheim , a current part of the market town of Markt Nordheim in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Bavaria .

From the extensive castle complex with a very wide and deep south-eastern moat, remains of moat and stone wall remains have been preserved.
