Burhan Eşer (born January 1, 1985 in Lice ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

societies

Eşer started his career at Diyarbakırspor in 2004 . He did not play a game in his first half season and moved to Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . There he convinced the officials of Diyarbakırspor despite low stakes and he came back to Diyarbakırspor. In the 2005/06 season Burhan Eşer rose with the team in the 2nd division. He played another season there and moved to Gençlerbirliği in the capital Ankara for the 2007/08 season . In the same season he reached the Turkish Cup final with Gençlerbirliği, which was lost on penalties with 10:11.

For the 2010/11 season Eşer moved to Eskişehirspor . Here he immediately established himself as a top performer and was an important part of the team for a long time. After Ersun Yanal had taken over the coaching position at Eskisehirspor for the second half of the 2011/12 season, Eşer lost his regular place but still played regularly.

For the second half of the 2012/13 season , Eşer moved to league rivals Mersin İdman Yurdu .

After Mersin İY missed relegation at the end of the season, Eşer left this club and moved within the league to Sivasspor . At this club, Eşer immediately established himself as a top performer. With his teammate Aatif Chahechouhe , he formed one of the most successful storm duos of the 2013/14 season , was always at the top of the list of goalscorers and contributed to his team's good performance with 12 goals this season. With Sivasspor, he was relegated from the Süper Lig at the end of the 2015/16 season . In the following season he and his team reached the second division championship and thus direct promotion back to the Süper Lig . Eşer was with his nine league goals as the most successful goalscorer in this was significantly involved.

Despite its importance in the recovery, Eşer was unable to agree on a contract extension with the club's management and then left the club in the summer of 2017 for the second division Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor . For the 2019/20 season he moved to the second division Akhisarspor .

National team

Eşer went through the Turkish U-20 national team and the Turkish U-21 national team . He also played a game for the second selection of the Turkish national team in 2008 .
