Francisco "Chico" Oliveira Geraldes (born April 18, 1995 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player . The attacking midfielder is under contract with Sporting Lisbon .
Career
societies
Geraldes played for the youth teams of Sporting Lisbon until 2014 , but was used for the first time on May 8, 2012 for the second team in the second-rate Segunda League . From the 2014/15 season he was a permanent member of the reserve squad and played 63 league games in two seasons. Geraldes played the first half of the 2016/17 season on loan with Moreirense FC , for whom he made his debut on August 13, 2016 in a 1-1 draw against FC Paços de Ferreira in the Primeira Liga . With Moreirense he won the Portuguese League Cup on January 29, 2017 after a 1-0 final win against Sporting Braga , in which Geraldes was on the pitch for the full season . He then returned to Lisbon and played four times for Sportings first team in the Primeira Liga by the end of the season. In the 2017/18 season , Geraldes was awarded to the league competitor Rio Ave FC and played for them in 38 competitive games.
End of July 2018 Geraldes was until the end of season 2018/19 at the Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt awarded. However, the loan agreement was terminated on December 23, 2018. Geraldes returned to Lisbon in January 2019 without playing a competitive game for Eintracht. He was loaned to AEK Athens for the 2019/20 season, but the loan deal ended at the end of January 2020 and Geraldes returned to Sporting.
