Christian Heinrich Quien the Elder (born December 7, 1750 in Alt-Saarbrücken ; † October 4, 1831 ibid) was a German merchant and mayor of Alt-Saarbrücken (1823-1831).

Life

Christian Heinrich was the son of the governor of Nassau-Saarbrück (comparable to a high ministerial official) and later highway director (head of road and bridge construction) Johann Clemens Quien (* 1714), his mother Margaretha Elisabeth (1725–1755) born. Quien was a co-founder of the Saarbrücken casino company in 1796.

On October 1, 1800 he became a member of the then municipal council, still under French administration.
