Reviews

“It's what brought Coldplay into the mostly negatively connoted habitus of the stadium (pop) rock band and what may no longer appeal to fans from the ' Parachutes ' times. Sure, ' Mylo Xyloto ' is the weakest Coldplay album, but with reference to the opener 'Major minus', 'Charlie Brown' and even 'Princess of China' it is by no means a failure. The duet with Rihanna can be condemned, but when she starts singing 'I could have been a princess' in the Stade de France in Paris, the supplied synth surface shoots straight to the core. "

- Stephan Müller : Plattentests.de

“No matter what you think of the band and their pop songs - in a full stadium you can hardly escape the magic of the ballads, the well-staged light show and the emotional drama. Coldplay are masters of the stage show. This is complex and dramatically perfect. "

- Beate Wild : Süddeutsche Zeitung

“The sound is brilliant, the pictures are beautiful. The hits are all there. With 'In My Place', confetti trickles through the air like tinsel. At 'Paradise' the audience glows more beautifully than any Christmas tree. But everything seems a little too perfect. Like Christmas without surprises, suitable for the masses and pure. Musically, this band was much further ahead in its beginnings. "
