Contea di Sclafani

Under the name Contea di Sclafani DOC are Italian white , rosé and red wines and sparkling wines ( Spumante ) markets, on Sicily are produced. The wines have had a "controlled designation of origin " ( Denominazione di origine controllata - DOC) since 1996 , which was last updated on March 7, 2014. In February 2019 the Commission of the European Union decided to change the name from "Contea di Sclafani" to "Contea di Sclafani" / "Valledolmo - Contea di Sclafani" at the request of Italy.
