Covivio , formerly Foncière des Régions , is a French listed real estate investment trust (REIT) based in Metz . The Foncière Développement Logements is a subsidiary .
In October 2006, the Trust completed the takeover of 45,500 apartments in the European Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region from Immeo , which began in November 2005 and are to be managed by the FDL. The total price was 2.4 billion euros.
