Amundi SA is a French wealth management company based in Paris . The joint venture between Crédit Agricole and Société Générale was founded in January 2010 to reorganize the investment business of the two banks. Amundi has been listed on Euronext Paris since November 2015 , which at the time was the largest IPO in 10 years on the Paris Stock Exchange. In December 2016, Amundi announced that it would take over Pioneer Investments from Unicredit . The acquisition, which was completed in July 2017, increased assets under management to € 1,276 billion ; This makes Amundi the eighth largest asset manager in the world and the largest in Europe. Amundi has locations in 37 countries. In Germany, Amundi (as of November 6, 2019) holds over 3% of Hugo Boss .
