Rubis SCA is a French company in the field of oil and chemical logistics. Rubis maintains terminals for the intermediate storage of liquid products and offers logistics services for various refined products along the downstream . 79% of petroleum products are stored in the Rubis' tank farms, 9% are other chemical products, 7% fertilizers and 5% edible oils and molasses . As of July 2019, the company is part of the CAC Mid 60 and Next 150 stock indices .

history

The company was founded in 1990 by Gilles Gobin as Rubis Investment & Cie. founded and merged with the investment company Penhoët in 1992. In April 1993 Rubis took over the Compagnie Parisienne des Asphaltes (CPA). The tank farm operator was later renamed Rubis Terminal. The following year, 1994, they bought Vitogaz, a distributor of propane - and butane - liquefied . Rubis shares have been traded on the Paris Stock Exchange since 1995 .

The company operates its own filling stations under the names Rubis and Vito.
