Daniel Ochoa (* 1979 in Sangerhausen ) is a German song , concert and opera singer ( baritone ).

Life

The Leipzig singer received his first musical training in Leipzig choirs and was most recently a member of the Gewandhaus Children's Choir . In 1999 he began his vocal studies with Anthony Baldwin at the Rostock University of Music and Theater , which he continued with Hans-Joachim Beyer in Leipzig from 2002 and graduated with a diploma three years later. Ochoa deepened his vocal training with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau , Rudolf Piernay , Marianne Fischer-Kupfer , Horst Günter , Reiner Goldberg , Thomas Quasthoff , Matthias Goerne , Kammersängerin Christa Maria Ziese and Michael Rhodes.

From 2006 to 2012 the baritone was mainly active as a concert singer.
