Danny Strong
Danny Strong (born June 6, 1974 in Manhattan Beach , California ) is an American actor and screenwriter .
life and career
Strong began acting in high school and won numerous high school drama actor awards, after which he studied drama at the University of Southern California .
Strong, who is with a height of 1.57 m quite small for a Hollywood actor, was beginning his television career in 1994 in several episodes of the series Saved by the Bell: The New Class to see a spin-off from Saved by the Bell . He had a small supporting role in 1995 in the film Dangerous Minds . This was followed by other supporting roles in the popular series Buffy - The Vampire Slayer and Clueless - The Chaos Clique in the late 1990s . He also made short appearances in the films Pleasantville - Too Good to Be True and God's Army II - The Prophecy (both 1998).
His originally small supporting role as Jonathan in Buffy , in which he could be seen from 1997, was expanded significantly in later seasons. In the fourth season (2000) he only had one appearance, but this in the episode Jonathan , in which he plays the main role. In the sixth season, his character transformed into one of the main antagonists of the protagonist.
After Buffy quit , Strong starred as Doyle in the Gilmore Girls series from 2003 . Until 2007 he played the friend of Paris Geller , played by Liza Weil , in 21 episodes of the series. Since 2015 he has been executive producer for the Fox television series Empire , which he also helped develop as a screenwriter.
