Dawn Martin (* 1976 in Dundalk ) is an Irish pop singer .

The hairdresser at the time was the singer of the band A Good Choice . After an appearance on the radio show , The George Jones Show radio station BBC Radio Ulster it was the composer Gerry Morgan discovered. She won the national preliminary round and was therefore commissioned to represent Ireland at the 1998 Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham . With her pop song Is Always Over Now she reached ninth place.
