Chris Doran

Chris Doran (born November 22, 1979 in Waterford , Ireland ) is an Irish singer .

Doran won the 2004 casting show You're a Star, hosted by the Irish television station RTÉ . The aim of the show was to select the Irish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul .

The ballad If My World Stopped Turning , with which Doran was represented in Istanbul, was written by Brian McFadden , the former singer of the boy band Westlife .

Before winning You're a star , Doran was a bouncer. Doran is a multiple Irish master in karate .
