Dickie skirt

Dickie Rock (actually: Richard Rock , born October 10, 1946 in Dublin ) is a popular Irish singer .

In 1962, Dickie Rock joined the previously known The Miami Showband . Here he made a great career with numerous chart singles, including seven number 1 hits. As the winner of the preselection, he was allowed to compete for his country at the Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson in Luxembourg in 1966 . He reached fourth place with the ballad Come Back to Stay . At the end of 1972, Rock separated from the show band and became a solo artist. He had chart singles well into the 1980s, when he remained active as an entertainer.
