Liam Reilly

Liam Reilly (born January 29, 1955 in Dundalk ) is an Irish singer-songwriter .

From the late 1970s he was the singer of the Irish rock band Bagatelle. He broke up in the mid-1980s to start a solo career. In 1988 he finished second in the Irish preliminary round for the Eurovision Song Contest , but two years later he won and therefore represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 in Zagreb . He came second with the self-composed song Somewhere in Europe . A year later he returned to the contest as the composer of Could it be that I'm in love? , the Irish contribution - sung by Kim Jackson - which received tenth place.

Reilly continued to try his hand at solo. His solo album Throwing Caution To The Wind was released in 1990 . But he soon appeared again with Bagatelle. The band is still active and popular in Ireland. For 2018 she announced her last tour.
