Maria Christian (* 1965 in Dundalk ) is an Irish pop singer .

She took part for Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg and reached sixth place with the ballad Wait until the Weekend Comes . That year she released another single, then withdrew from the music business.
