Denis and Eugène Bühler
The brothers Denis Bühler (born April 22, 1811 in Lahr , † 1890 in Lausanne , Switzerland ) and Eugène Bühler (born December 4, 1822 in Clamart , Hauts-de-Seine department , † 1907 in Paris ) were French garden architects . They came from a Protestant family from Switzerland and enjoyed great recognition in the 19th century as representatives of the elite of their guild.
The Bühler brothers designed mainly exotic landscapes and English landscape gardens .
Beginnings
Out of an obligation to the family, Denis took over the nursery after his father's death . His brother studied landscape architecture at the École royale d'horticulture de Versailles . The Bühler then settled in Paris and devoted themselves to the design of parks and gardens.
