Applied Geography Prize

Since 1996, the DVAG has been awarding the Applied Geography Prize for outstanding theses in the field of applied geography every two years . Due to Walter Christaller's troubled past , the 2016 prize was renamed from 'Walter Christaller Prize' to 'Prize for Applied Geography'.
