Diana Muldaur
Diana Muldaur (born August 19, 1938 in New York ) is an American actress .
Life
During her acting career, Muldaur appeared primarily in television productions and series. From 1969 to 1970 she played the role of Belle in the 15-part series Die Macht des Geldes (The Survivors) , from 1970 to 1977 she had a role in the crime series A Sheriff in New York (original title: McCloud ) with Dennis Weaver . In the 13-part television series Frei Born around the lioness Elsa from 1974, she played the role of the naturalist Joy Adamson in front of the camera. Diana Muldaur had a guest role in 1973 in the series Kung Fu (episode: The Elixir ) and in 1976 in an episode of the series Charlie's Angels .
Muldaur played the doctor Katherine Pulaski in the science fiction series Starship Enterprise: The Next Century (original title: Star Trek: The Next Generation ). She had previously appeared in the original series Starship Enterprise ( original title: Star Trek , 1966-69) in two episodes in guest roles. She was also known as Rosalind Shays on the LA Law series of lawyers .
In 1983 she was elected President of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences , making her the only woman to have held this post to date. After the end of her two-year term, she did not stand for re-election.
Her younger brother is the folk singer Geoff Muldaur .
