The Senator for Economy, Labor and Europe is the Ministry of Labor and Economics of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen . The authority combines the political and administrative responsibility for economic development and regulation , labor market policy and the port industry.

Before 2011 the authority was responsible for economy and ports, then its responsibility was extended to the area of ​​labor. Since August 20, 2019, the ministry has also been responsible for Europe and no longer for ports. Senator is Kristina Vogt , ( Die Linke ). State councilors are Susanne Ahlers (Labor and Europe) and Sven Wiebe (independent) (Economy).

The senatorial office is located in Bremen, Second Battle Gate 3. The Labor Department will be located in the Finke high-rise building , Hutfilterstrasse 3 , from May 2014 .
