The second edition of the East and Central African Senior Challenge Cup 1969 , also called Challenge Cup, took place from September 27 to October 4, 1969 in Uganda . Four East and Central African teams played here for the title of East and Central African champions in football . Host Uganda won their second title. The East and Central African Senior Challenge Cup is considered the successor to the Gossage Cup and a forerunner of the CECAFA Cup .
