history
The place was mentioned in 1361/64 in the castle counts Salbuch as "Eberspach". At that time, the place was under the castle counts office Schauerberg . After its dissolution, the place came to the newly created office Emskirchen.
At the end of the 18th century there were 6 properties in Ebersbach. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Fraischvogteiamt Emskirchen-Hagenbüchach . The village and township government had the box and jurisdiction office Emskirchen held. The landlords were the principality of Bayreuth (caste and jurisdiction office Emskirchen: 1 yard, 1 inn, 1 forge; monastery office Münchaurach : 1 estate, 1 drip house ) and the manor Wilhemsdorf (1 house).
In 1810 Ebersbach came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict, it was assigned to the Oberreichenbach tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Eckenberg, founded in 1813 . With the second community edict (1818) it was dissolved and formed its own rural community, to which Oberalbach and Trabelshof belonged. This was subordinate to the regional court of Markt Erlbach in administration and jurisdiction and to the Ipsheim Rent Office in the financial administration . The Wilhemsdorf Patrimonial Court held voluntary jurisdiction over a property until 1848 . From 1862 Ebersbach was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained until 1879 with the district court of Markt Erlbach, 1880–1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The municipality had an area of 5.376 km².
On July 1, 1971, Ebersbach was incorporated into Wilhemsdorf as part of the regional reform .
