Eichenkratt and gravel pit south of Böxlund is a nature reserve in the Schleswig-Holstein communities of Medelby , Böxlund and Weesby in the Schleswig-Flensburg district .

The approximately 23  hectare nature reserve is entered under number 153 in the directory of nature reserves of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas. It was expelled at the end of 1990 (date of regulation: December 13, 1990). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Schleswig-Flensburg district.

The nature reserve is located west of Flensburg in an agricultural today Saale glacial moraine nlandschaft. It places a small oak tree and an abandoned gravel pit to the north of it , in which there is a river bed, with the surrounding open and wooded areas under protection.

The nature reserve is looked after by the Schleswig-Holstein State Forests .
