The 1937 binding world championship was the fourth tournament in this discipline of carom billiards and took place in Montargis from March 6 to 9, 1937 . It was the fourth binding World Cup in France.

history

The last binding world championship before the Second World War ended with two new world records. The Austrian Ernst Reicher improved the world record in the general average ( GD) to 3.57 and the best individual average (BED) to 6.81 . Robert Tolédano, who played his first world championship, won the title in front of his compatriot and defending champion Jacques Davin .

mode

The final round was “everyone against everyone” up to 150 points. If there was a tie at the top, a tie-off game was played for victory.
