Elitserien (chess) 2004/05

In the 2004/05 season the defending champion SK Rockaden Stockholm won all competitions and was able to prevail.

In the previous year, the Eksjö - Aneby -Alliansen, Wasa SK and Åstorps Schacksällskap rose. While Eksjö and Wasa SK managed to stay in the league, Åstorp had to relegate together with Farsta SK and SK Passanten . Game dates

The competitions took place on November 5, 6 and 7, 2004, December 4 and 5, 2004, January 15, 2005, February 5 and 26, 2005 and on March 11, 12 and 13, 2005. The The first three rounds were played centrally in Skara , the last three rounds were held centrally in Malmö , the other competitions were held locally at the clubs involved.
