Elitserien (chess) 2010/11

The 2010/11 season saw a three-way battle for the title; in the end Lunds ASK was able to prevail over the defending champions SK Team Viking and SK Rockaden Stockholm .

As the Elitserien was reduced to 10 teams for the following season, three teams had to relegate this time with the promoted Örgryte SK , the Farsta SK and Upsala Allmänna Schacksällskap . For the reported team squads of the participating clubs, see Elitserien team squad (chess) 2010/11 .

Game dates

The competitions took place on October 8, 9 and 10, 2010, November 13 and 14, 2010, December 4, 2010, January 15, 2011, February 5, 19 and 26, 2011 and on November 11, 12, 2011 and March 13, 2011. In the first three rounds three competitions each were held in Gothenburg and Lund , the last three rounds were held centrally in Västerås , while the remaining competitions were held locally at the participating clubs.
