2011

The FIA GT1 World Championship expanded to China in its second year : a race weekend was held on both the Ordos International Circuit and the Goldenport Circuit in Beijing . In the 2011 season , the Belgian Selleslagh Racing Team initially fielded a Corvette C6.R in 2011 with the Chinese naming Exim Bank Team China . For the two events in China and the final in Argentina, the Corvette from DKR Engineering was officially integrated into the team, but was still looked after by the Luxembourg team. Both teams competed together in 2010 as Mad-Croc_Racing in the FIA GT1 World Championship.

The Dutch duo Mike Hezemans and Nicky Catsburg began the season that was later marked by many driver changes. The most successful driver pairings were Mike Hezemans and Andreas Zuber , who finished third in both races at Silverstone , as well as Yelmer Buurman and Francesco Pastorelli, who won both races on the final weekend as newcomers.

2012

In 2012 was Mühlner Motorsport for the use of two Porsche 997 GT3 R in the FIA GT1 World Championship responsible. The series promoter SRO initiated this commitment in order to increase the number of vehicles for the championship to the necessary minimum. After the fifth race of the season, Mühlner Motorsport no longer took part in the FIA GT1 World Championship because the China Exim Bank had withdrawn financially after the race in China was canceled.

Benjamin Lariche competed at Mühlner Motorsport with three different partners: Ren Wei , Dino Lunardi and Andreas Zuber . However, none of these pairings was able to achieve points - also because the vehicle could not start in four races due to technical problems. Frenchman Mike Parisy and New Zealander Matt Halliday shared a vehicle for four race weekends and together achieved third place in the qualifying race and a victory in the main race in Zolder . Parisy drove his last race at Mühlner Motorsport together with Andreas Zuber at the event in Portugal .
