The First Division 1962/63 was the 25th season of the top Cypriot division in men's football . It began on October 13, 1962 and ended on May 22, 1963.

Champion became defending champion Anorthosis Famagusta .

The twelve remaining teams from the previous season played against each other twice over a total of 22 match days, divided into a first and a second half. The two clubs with the same points in places 11 and 12 played with the winner of the Second Division in the relegation round one participant for the following season.

With the champions and cup winners, teams from Cyprus took part in UEFA competitions for the first time.
