Francisco Javier Montero Rubio (born January 14, 1999 in Seville ) is a Spanish football player . He has played for the first division club Atlético Madrid since 2014 . After four years in his youth, he joined the club's B team in mid-2018 and is now playing in the first team.

Career

Francisco Montero joined the youth team at Atlético Madrid in 2014 . At the beginning of the 2018/19 season he was promoted to the squad of the club's third-class B team . For this he came to his first competitive game in the men's area when he was called into the starting line-up in the league away game at CDA Navalcarnero on September 23, 2018 . When his team won 4-2, he was replaced in the 56th minute of the game. In addition to his work for the second team, Montero experienced this season also consideration for the first; this for the first time on October 30th in the first leg of the intermediate round of the Copa del Rey at UE Sant Andreu on the starting grid. Trivia
