Fredrick Vieche

Fredrick Vieche was an American politician . Between 1880 and 1881 he was acting lieutenant governor of the state of Indiana .

The sources of this American politician are extremely poor. In the sparse sources even the spellings of his surname differ; he is sometimes listed as Frederick Viehle . Only the following is guaranteed about his life and work: He lived at least temporarily in Indiana and was a member of the Democratic Party . For this he was elected to the Indiana Senate and was its chairman in 1881.

After the death of Governor James D. Williams in November 1880, Vice Governor Isaac P. Gray succeeded him. As President of the State Senate, Fredrick Vieche took over the post of Vice Governor, which he held between November 20, 1880 and the regular end of his term on January 8, 1881, in accordance with the constitution. He was Deputy Governor and Chairman of the State Senate. After the end of his time as Lieutenant Governor, his trail is lost.
