Italy met the winner of the Europe group 7 against the winner of the Middle East subgroup.

Europe-Middle East final

In this elimination the winner of the Europe group 7 and the winner of the qualification "Middle East" met. The winner of this round qualified directly for the World Cup finals. The winner was determined in the two legs; if there was a tie, the goal difference was taken into account in a decision game.
