Gattaran is a township in the Cagayan province of the Philippines and was founded in 1623. In 2015 Gattaran had 56,661 inhabitants. The area of Gattaran was settled on the banks of the Cagayan before it was founded . There is also an old Spanish church in Baranggay Nassiping.
