Iguig is a municipality in the Cagayan province of the Philippines . In 2015, 27,862 people lived in the 108 km² area, resulting in a population density of 258 inhabitants per km². Iguig was founded in 1607 and is inhabited by the three Filipino ethnic groups Itawes , Ibanag and Ilokano .
