Claveria is a municipality in the Cagayan province of the Philippines . The municipality is located in the northwest of the province and borders the Apayao province in the south . A bay in the northwest of the area, Claveria Bay , is named after the place. There is also a lighthouse and a large beach on the coast. Right next to it tower over 600 meters high mountains.
