Gergana Voigt

Gergana Miladinowa-Voigt (* 1970 in Sofia , Bulgaria ) is a German film editor .

She is Professor and Vice President for Teaching & Art Projects at the Babelsberg Film University .

life and work

She has been working in film and television since 2000 and worked a. a. with the directors Ulrich Köhler , Oskar Roehler , Achim von Borries and Maximilian Erlenwein . For her work on the feature film Tolle Lage (2000) she was nominated for the " Feature Film Editing Prize ". She also received a nomination for the German Film Critics' Prize 2012 in the editing category for her work on the film Das System - To understand everything means to forgive everything (2011).

Gergana Voigt is a member of the German Film Academy and of the Federal Association of Film Editing Editor eV (BFS) .
