Dance Music Award

The Dance Music Award (DMA), also known as the German Dance Award, was a German music award for dance music, club culture and lifestyle .

The prize was first awarded on January 19, 2000 in the Hamburg Imperial Theater . The award which depends on the annual evaluation of German dance charts , the trend charts and the vinyl -Verkaufszahlen of music distribution Discomania GmbH. The organizers of the award were music companies and promotion agencies. The award ceremony was broadcast annually on the TV station VIVA .
