The Gmina Lubsko [ 'lupskɔ ] is a town-and-country municipality in the powiat Żarski of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the city ​​of the same name ( German Sommerfeld ) with about 14,200 inhabitants.

The community is located in Niederlausitz . It is about 20 kilometers from Guben and 25 kilometers from Żary (Sorau) and borders the city of Jasień . The Lubsza (Lubst / Lubis) , after which the city was named in 1947, is one of the waters .
